Hayley Rice Bsc (Hons)

Director and Head Physiotherapist

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Nottingham University graduating with a First Class Honour Degree.  I am a member of both the HPCP and the CSP. I started working at Coventry University Hospital as an orthopaedic research physiotherapist, where I worked alongside Consultants in a fracture clinic and on the orthopaedic wards. In 2013 I joined Oxford University Hospital where I worked in a variety of different clinical settings including outpatients, orthopaedics, intensive care and general medical wards. I then decided to specialise as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and have worked at both Oxford University Hospital and Warwick Hospital in this role.

I have a very 'hands on' approach to treatment and have completed various courses in advanced manual therapy. I also have a diploma in Sports Massage. I have completed my APPI level 1 and 2 matwork pilates courses. As well as my physiotherapy, I also run group based pilates classes at various locations across Warwickshire.

I like to keep active, and enjoy running on a regular basis!

Melanie De Luca Bsc (Hons)

Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor

I qualified as a Physiotherapist (BSc Hons) from University of Brighton in 2008. I gained most of my experience in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, neurology and hydrotherapy from working in the South East at a small private hospital.

In 2011 I moved to Warwickshire and worked initially at a specialist neurological care home as a Physiotherapist and Therapy Manager, and then into a private clinic as a Physiotherapist and Clinic Manager. Being a Physiotherapist allows me to help people reach their full potential following injury and maintain the best quality of life.

I wanted to use my Pilates skills as part of my physiotherapy practice so started working in private clinics to enable this. I am a Fully Certified Matwork Pilates Instructor (APPI) gaining my qualification in 2011 and have been teaching Pilates in classes and 1:1 sessions since 2009. I have done various additional Pilates courses including small equipment, Neurology, Ante/Post Natal, Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and Reformer training. I love the way Pilates complements physiotherapy practice and works for everyone!

I am a very active person and enjoy exercise, socialising and running around after my little boy!

Rachael Farrelly Bsc(Hons), MACP, McKenzie Acreddited.

Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor

I graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2004, after gaining a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Salford. Since I graduated, I have worked within the NHS for most of my career, gaining invaluable experience in a variety of clinical areas and settings, before eventually specializing within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2010.

Throughout my career, I have always aimed to remain up to date with evidence-based practice and expand my knowledge within all aspects of the continually evolving world of Physiotherapy. Since graduating, I have attended numerous post graduate courses and have achieved post graduate qualifications in Acupuncture, and I am also a McKenzie Accredited Practitioner (Cred. MDT)

In 2016 I enrolled with The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and have completed Matwork Courses 1,2 and 3. I teach Pilates both in a group environment but also on a 1:1 basis. Pilates has really complemented my Physiotherapy practice and I love how Pilates can empower participants to be more aware of how their bodies move. It can improve functional strength and flexibility, allowing you to be fit for function at any age. Whether that’s climbing the stairs or running a marathon.

As a Physiotherapist, I have a holistic approach to the assessment and treatment of Musculoskeletal conditions. Utilizing my expert ‘hands on’ skills, in combination with providing individually tailored home exercise programmes. I endeavor to empower patients to understand their condition/injury and to be actively involved in their ongoing management and recovery. I also feel, as a health care practitioner, I can play a pivotal role in encouraging activity and body awareness, for long term health and function benefits. I love all aspects of Physiotherapy but have a particular interest in

 lower limb rehabilitation.

I am registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (PH70212), The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (072257) and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

When I am not working or chasing after my 2 very active young boys, I love being out in the fresh air walking the dog or running.
